Katoomba

Time to get MOVING again! ❄

The days grow icy again and fog blankets the town as Autumn tapers out into my fifth or sixth winter here, which makes half a decade in Katoomba – give or take. Also I’ve agreed to a short training course immediately followed by a land-care volunteering ‘position’,

Fuckin…

Mm I do very little this month, so clearly the ‘show’ hasn’t gone on yet though I do start making myself doodle a pretty drawing or two, still managing to find time to send abusive texts to my uh, ex-ex girlfriend. Don’t know how I manage to fit it all in..

Tortas Portuguesa πŸ’

New year’s happens again, I get chatty with a Brazilian chick and start learning bits of choppy portugues and take a temporary cleaning job as the contract comes to an end.

Deixe os cΓ£es dormentes πŸ•

While walking back from town ther other day, I come across this baby dog running around the middle of the road. The puppy ran up to me, I was dumb enough to pat her and here we are: in my unit together. Very irresponsible thing to do for an ordinary, common-as-shit kelpie pup.

Outing #48: And another

I grow attached to a dead parrot that’s slowly decomposing, a cleaning of Junction 142 of junkie filth, no visit to the rainfirest in over two weeks now and an ever expanding collection of attractive female friends sees me finally not so nervous talking to beautiful women which was all I ever really needed to do to begin with,

Outing #46: Last outing, for now.

A pigeon already cursed with ugliness gets mowed down by a tourist who denies doing it, seven cockatoo set karma right though, I mouth-feed one of them and .. you know this post spans a full fortnight – I cannot condense that much into an excerpt.. 14,531 words this week and counting.

Outing #45: You women at the church are lovely πŸ‘§πŸ‘΅

I received admiration today among a host of other things, when all I was expecting were two 1kg bags of powdered milk which seemed to me like a pretty selfish request on my part anyway – given how many people that place feeds every day – but they happily gave me the last two bags in the cupboard. How sweet is that?

Bird is the word.

Today I went to work, threatened my employer with legal action, started smoking cannabis right outside the library on the steps, got saved for another few days with $50 from my Mother and fed a gorgeous pigeon. You?

Outing #43: Back to the bush

Thanks to the women at the pharmacy, I’ve got a tin of shortbread biscuits to stop me eating moths for tonight, and thank you Michele – best ex I’ve ever had.
